Xleague's, or Pulse whatever takes your fancy, very own Mike Bembenek is in Cologne to cover the 2008 World Cyber Games. He's kindly sent us a preview of the events along with his predictions for each event. Simply unbelievable, yeah I went there.
A combination of the UK's finest players from team VVV and Dignitas joined up and won qualification at this years iSeries due to age restrictions. HeavensWrath and Adihash from Dignitas and the freshly re-recruited Singh and Badshaah from VVV combine to take on the Mexican team NBK tomorrow in the first round.

This is your opportunity to get yourself featured in Novembers Halo3Forum Top Ten clips! How do you do this? Well it couldn't be simpler, just send your clips to I Socro I with the message 'Top Ten' included, the clips will then be judged and we'll take the highest rated ten in order and then editmogrify them into the coming months top ten video.
When submitting clips ensure that they are of a high standard, we're looking for clutch competitive plays, preferably from a MLG custom or playlist. However, if you have other clips that are entertaining or you feel are worthy enough of the Halo3Forum top ten, then by all means submit them.
Be sure to leave us some room to edit the clips, if you submit them and they're too brief then they will be ignored. The dead line for submission is 12.00pm on the 7th of November.

After numerous delays it's finally here, the first ever Halo3Forum.co.uk top ten clips. I apologise for my commentating, it's a bit rough around the edges but this is the first time I have commentated over anything so lets look at it as a learning curve and hopefully we'll improve on all fronts and I'll try and get my voice back. And no, I don't know where the accent came from.
Once again a huge thank you to everyone who submitted clips (sorry we could not include you all!) and a massive thank you to Ell and Socro who put together the transitions and opening for us, it's really appreciated. As an incentive the number one submitter clip we select will be given five hundred Halo3Forum credits and the rest of the nine entries will receive one hundred each, enjoy!
Anyways enough of me rambling.

The more astute amongst you may have noticed our new rotating image banner, well done you! But we're not happy with just two images, we want more. More specifically we want to promote the competitive side of European Halo in our banner.
So, we have decided to run a screenshot competition for images from either MLG customs or matchmaking. You can submit your entries in this thread by linking to your Bungie.net fileshare.
The winner will be decided in a weeks time and will receive 500 credits and a warm fuzzy feeling inside. Good luck.
Just to clarify - you do not need to design or edit the screenshot in anyway.

Team Ultima's own Munky has released his first Halo 3 montage. From the bat it's worth pointing out that if you watch montages for editing then this isn't for you. This is no frills straight up Halo 3 clips accompanied by some pretty good music, you can't go wrong with the foo fighters really.
Most of the clips are from MLG, however there is some matchmaking acting as filler, but we'll forgive him that because they're on the whole entertaining to watch.

Some of you have noticed a new section to the forum called "Betting Arena" and a new section in your profile called cRs. This is due to a new implementation.
We have added in a new betting system, instead of having the old style "Rep Bets", you can now use your cRs (Credits) to bet on events we place up in the forum. These cover a variety of things, from Halo LAN events to Sporting Events.
Everyone has been given 500 starting credits, so spend them wisely as they are pretty rare to get hold of. These will now become a perk of donating too, so once you donate, you get 1000 more credits. Current donators will get an extra 300.
We will soon be releasing a shop to go with the forum, its pretty undecided what will be part of the shop, but expect it to be along the lines of bold usernames, coloured usernames, 1 year donation subscription and other forum goods, to actual prizes such as H3F T-Shirts and Pens, possibly even a 360 game if you get enough points 
The only current bet available for you guys is the premier league and who will win it, but expect more very soon!
